The Green River Development Fund is a volunteer organization for the purpose of supporting the mission of the Green River URA/Main Street Agency by raising funds for downtown projects and programs. Examples include the Downtown Dollar program, façade and other grants, murals and other beautification projects.
The Green River Development Fund is also the fiscal agent for the Green River Arts Council. We are working together to provide more public art within the urban renewal areas of Green River.

OUR PROGRAMS
The Façade Grant program is a 50/50 matching grant to be used for the updating and repair of the façade of downtown businesses within the Main Street District. Applicants are eligible to receive up to $3,000.00, dependent upon available funds.
Downtown Dollars is a gift certificate program that encourages spending at Green River downtown businesses. The program began in 2020 and has so far paid approximately $22,000 into our local economy. Downtown Dollars are available from the Green River Main Street office at City Hall, located at 50 E. 2nd N. Street in Green River, Wyoming.
